I’m thinking of taking a weeks holiday in the USA next year. 1 week any time in Aug/Sept/Oct. What would be the cheapest place to fly to? I really am open to any suggestions (City/State) except California which I have already done. Direct flights from UK only please.

Cheapest flights across the Atlantic are usually with Icelandair. They fly to Baltimore which is close to Washington DC and makes a good base for a visit. The only down side is that you get about a two hour stop in Iceland.
