Question by Discofunk: Canada General Working Holiday Program For UK Resident?
Is it possible for a UK resident (non-student) to get a work holiday visa for Canada? I am a resident of Canada and have a friend that would like to visit and work for a year. My friend is not enrolled (and never has been) in a post secondary institution. I have read conflicting information regarding what the options are as a UK non-student.

Yes, check out BUNAC visa at http://www.bunac.org/uk/workcanada/
It says 2008 program for non students is now closed but info for 2009 program will be available in november.
