@fastcomet The conservative party of today differs from the pc party that you are refering to. The time for high royalty rates, strict government control and ownership of natural resources is over, which the NDP has a history of.
The messages contained here give me hope that maybe politics in Canada not only can be salvaged, but renewed and made fresh again. Why? Because Michael Ignatieff has made a commitment to listen to Canadians’ concerns — each week! That’s great! Don’t we want a government that is responsive that listens and then acts? I hope so. @fastcomet both the NDP and PCs ran deficits. that has nothing to do with the federal parties. The NDP did nothing to “save” saskatchewan. Right now, they are trying to get higher dividends from Potash Corp., a mostly private company. If they had their way Potash Corp and other crown corporations would have 0 retained earnings, and 0 new investment in the province.

Actually, conservatives screwed Saskatchewan, and the NDP saved us from bankruptcy.They have more balanced budgets than any other party. Don’t coment on things you have no idea about.

Look at how they have screwed SK and BC. Trust the NDP with your future, vote them into power, and watch them thrust Canada’s future straight down the toilet.
