    As much as I’m glad that we’re helping other countries, I wish we’d be helping ourselves more. We’re working ourselves into debt, and what will we have to show for it? Seriously.
    Their views of the USA seem very much like a foreigners view of another country. Sounds normal to me. Why report on it? Just ask them for opinions of the USA in Europe, Africa, and South Asia, you’ll get the same thing.

    @ACTORnSCREENWRITER What does Kyrgystan have to do with the middle east? Kyrgysztan is a Central Asian country.

    @tehnoobchild I loved that joke too. Though Bush and Osama would make a good couple, they’re not religious equals, but ideologically they’re a pair.

    HAHAHHA OSAMA BIN LADEN ! GEORGE BUSH! US STATE DEPARTMENT!!! HAHAHAHA!

    @ishenov “Islamic Middle East”? .Where did pick this up? lol
    What does it even mean “Islamic Middle East” ? Islamic and Middle East. Islamic means related to Islam and Middle East or Near East is Eurocentric term referring to All countries in Southwest Asia, Caucasus and central Asia, plus Egypt.
    Last time I checked Kyrgyzstan was in central Asia, so unless it moved out somewhere, I am sorry to bust your bubble, but Kyrgyzstan is part of the Middle East. Don’t be mad at me, the Brits did it.

    Yeah the Chinese government is working very hard to garner more favorable views in Central Asia, especially when they created the S.C.O (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) and Kyrgyzstan is also a member of that agreement.

    Oh the irony… Communist killers in an American school… (*_*)

    @ishenov

    What does your comment imply? That Middle-Eastern nations don’t have schools, or environments like this?

    @icemachine79

    Naturally many American students look at a Univ education as a means to get a job! Considering the cost of an education you had better get a job out of the deal! That’s just a reality that can’t be removed. If your parents fund your education it would be the epitome of selfishness to not at least turn a profit on the endeavor.

    Of course the teacher only meant that American students put more emphasis in getting through the education than getting an education.

    @icemachine79 ur not getting the entire picture check out people & power -kyrgyzstan from al-jazeera english. their anger towards USA is not without cause, dated aug 09′ b4 the revolution. American forces stationed there could’ve stablized the region with thousands of troops but it wasn’t in their interest 2 do so. understand WHY they hate USA so u can understand the problem

    I’ll bet that all that professor cares about is getting his nice fat taxpayer funded check and the perks that go along with it. Let me guess, he rides his donkey to class every day. What a waste, stay over there you baby boomer waste of protoplasm.

    @joshua81em By the sound of her condescension I’d say she is. Isn’t it remarkable how these students from these dump countries can be so highly educated yet can seemingly do nothing to improve the shitholes they live in? If I lived there I certainly would be ashamed to be a tour guide.

  14. tripleheshy Aug 29th 2010

    I bet that professor felt right at home staring at those pictures of his heroes Stalin and Marx.

  15. icemachine79 Aug 29th 2010

    @joshua81em Jeez, let it go! You sound like a whiny little brat.

  16. icemachine79 Aug 29th 2010

    @ezwriter101 Considering she was obviously looking for the word “backstabbing” I think two-faced was a slightly more polite way of putting it, and that is probably why he suggested it. Other then that he really didn’t do much talking during the interviews so I don’t see how you can accuse him of “feeding words”. As far as the photo, he was obviously joking. Don’t be so touchy and condescending. That is the sort of attitude that gives us a bad name in the first place.

  17. icemachine79 Aug 29th 2010

    @joshua81em That’s bullshit and you know it. Foreign university posts are difficult to come by and the State department doesn’t like to send “rejects” to represent us. Plus he is right about most American students looking at college as simply vocational training. Your irrational & insulting xenophobia is exactly why the world has so little respect for us and thinks we’re stupid. YOU should be the one to leave. Also that girl was gorgeous so your concept of beauty must be pretty fucked up.

  18. joshua81em Aug 29th 2010

    I think the Professor was sent out there as a punishment by his former school or just couldn’t get accepted anywhere else. Yeah all American College students are just so jaded. Sounds more like that prof was jaded by his own life.

    The ugly chick is hilarious. She labels 300 million people as “two-face” but then talks about “hopefully wanted by China”. What a bitch, stay in your own country and out of America.

  19. nodirrrrr Aug 29th 2010

    Some student are double or tripple faced untill they get the righ education. So guys don’t worry, because Kyrgizistan isn’t used to democracy yet, it will take time.

  20. yellowman88 Aug 29th 2010

    Yeah that made me laugh too but its so true.

    Craptastic. Nothing like an amateur over educated videographer feeding words into the mouths of those he interviews. Look, I don’t care if she doesn’t like Americans, if she finds them (in his words ‘two-faced.’) He made that to push his own POV across, that there are anti American POV’s. Who cares? We take it all the time. That the photo remained on that door, and the school didn’t close and the perpetrators didn’t have a bounty on their head says enough.
