Im doing a paper in social studies and google isn’t helping, the pages are mostly of travel bookings for holidays and vacations.

Why would the mighty US of A, celebrate some holiday generating from such an insignificant country? That’s against all logic.
Well not really.
There is a Greek Orthodox Thanksgiving Sunday, but I very much doubt that they have any relation with the American one.
The other two similar holidays are New Years and Xmas, but neither of them “originated” as holidays from Greece
