I am going to visit a friend for a week, I thought the Summer would be the best time to go. I was thinking of her Birthday/Valentines but her Birthday passed last week and Valentines it only 3 days away. Anyway is it best to book it now or will the prices drop later in the year after the Olympics?
So would it be better to book them for now or during the summer?

it is way cheaper now cause they want more people to come for vacation to watch the Olympics so just go vacation now 
its way cheaper

Go ahead and book them now. The olympics have no effect on this itinerary because your travel dates are after the event. The cheapest fares for flights usually come 90+ days before departure.
