How about traveling to Jamaica? You can find more info on vacation packages at http://www.jcvtt.com/

Also consider Dominican Republic. There are some really nice beaches to go along with lots of resort choices. It really depends on what city you live in. The worst part about some of the Islands is how many flight connections it takes to get there. That is why so many people go to the Riviera Maya these days, as it is easy to get a direct flight to Cancun, then take a shuttle down the coast to your resort.
If you have kids, i recommend Beaches Resorts. They are so family friendly and still cater to adults very well. If you are going as a couple, Sandals is my next choice. If budget is not a concern, One & Only Ocean Club in the Bahamas is my 5-star choice
I agree. Beaches Turks & Caicos is my favorite resort in the Caribbean for families, couples, singles, groups, etc. They have so much for all ages and for everything they offer their rates are actually very reasonable. I urge you to READ through the site and see everything they have to offer before you price the vacation out so you understand just how much of a good deal you’re getting for the price.

At this point, your choices may be limited. Christmas/New Year’s is prime time in the Caribbean and things book up fast – and they’re much more expensive, too. Better go talk with a travel agent ASAP to book something. Hopefully, you’ve already done some research as to which islands would best fit your needs….
It would help determining where you’d come from however I highly recommend Barbados. That little island is to die for, such paradise to ever live the dream even temporarily. Offers sea, sand and sun! Food is to die for, even some are unique.
Things get booked easily plus more expensive during the holidays so I’d suggest to do research or find a good deal now even if this means with a travel agency.
