I’m buying a game for a family member. I was told by an employee at a game store if the game was bought here(USA) it wouldn’t play in the UK ( due to some game codes)
My question I guess is; if I buy one from amazon.co.uk or ebay.co.uk can I send it to them..instead of my home.
I tried going on those sites and read their polocies..way too complicated. soo can anyone please help me out!

if you go onto a UK online store and make sure the game is the PAL version (UK) and not NTSC (USA). it will work. You can change the shipping address to the UK address, not the billing address. So in essence, it will be ordered in the UK and be sent in the UK. Just make sure it is a PAL version of a game.
