How long is the Christmas holiday in USA?

Is it start at Dec 25?
Actually I mean, how long is the time I don’t need to go to work the days around Christmas.

Christmas Eve is celebrated pretty widely as well.. that is December 24th.

But yes, Christmas DAY is December 25th only.

    Well I guess you could say Christmas Eve is part of Christmas but Christmas day is on December 25.

    December 25 12:00:00 AM to 11:59:99 PM every year.

    I figured you were using the word “holiday” in the UK manner, as in “I’m going to Spain on holiday” whereas in the US we would say “I’m going to Spain on vacation.”

    There is no national consensus on vacation time in the US; it varies from employer to employer. Most everyone will have Christmas Day off, with a few exceptions like gas station or convenience store clerks. My job in the financial industry expected its employees to return to work December 26th.

    You’ll need to check with your employer to see if they close operations for any length of time at Christmas.
