Question by sun worshipper: help with cheap luxury vaca to thailand?
has any one here been to thailand? I’ve been on working holiday in oz for a while and feel like i need a vaca before i head back to north america. i hear thailand is awesome and cheap. what are some good resort type places that are cheap and safe? i’d be going by myself so i don’t really want to stay in a backpackers being a girl and all. open to other places as well like samoa. i don’t want to go back home without a tan!

Well ive been quite a few times. Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, and Koh Samui i have to say Koh samui was probably the most memorable experience! I went Xmas 08, and had the best time! the people are ace, the food is SOOO cheap, easy in terms of transportation, and the nightlife was incred!!! i went with my brother whos now 24 and my younger sister we had so much fun! Im actually going bk there in June with some gal pals – we’re going for 10 days.. The beaches in Koh Samui are amazing too btw. Bangkok was good also, i really loved the shopping, and the atmosphere, its just so easy and people are always friendly and speak english… Ive heard alot of women go to thialand by themselves, but from what i know you meet some incredible people along the way! I think Phukets a little more expensive, as they tend to havehigher ratings on resoorts such as the laguna beach resort i stayed at.. Fab though!
