Do you think multiculturalism will last forever in North America/Europe?

Question by mattron: Do you think multiculturalism will last forever in North America/Europe?
I live in Canada said to be the most multicultural country in the world but do you think North America and Europe will keep supporting multiculturalism in the next 10, 20, 30 years when the majority (whites) will become just some ethnic minority and feel there country will not belong to them/ Multiculturalism is a good policy but I don’t see it to last forever unless there is assimilation to the North American/European way of life such as everyone agreeing to the same things and everyone being in the same religion. I know in Quebec there having a few issues on the whole assimilation for immigrants into francophone culture. I just hope 20, 30 even 50 years down the road that when whites possibly become a minority that they don’t loose their heads and start a race war that could a civil war or even a world war 3. I just brought this up because on CNN it said whites were going to be a minority by 2050 but it’s only statistics. I know there is something racial going on in Arizona , because of illegal immigrants, now cops can pull over any brown looking person and ask for there papers or identification, there also strengthening up border patrol which is a good thing, but now you need a passport and only a passport to enter USA not a birth certificate or any other types of identification. It’s going to be hard to get into the United States in the future. I see that multiculturalism is different in the European view then the North American view because all north Americans are descended from immigrants while most Europeans are native to their country having ancestors that have lived in their country for thousands of years. North America is a continent of immigrants while Europe is a continent of European natives who would not want their culture to change just for the sake of multiculturalism. In Canada now in the recent years people are encouraged to say seasons greetings instead of merry Christmas just because of a few religious minorities who aren’t Christian and don’t celebrate Christmas. Okay guys Christmas is a North American tradition as well as European tradition from Northern Canada to Southern Mexico, GET USED TO IT! Our old cultural traditions In North America have lasted for generations and Generations. If you want to come to Canada and America where there is freedom and little discrimination you can put up with the majority’s culture just long as it doesn’t discriminate against you. If you find that it is discriminating go ahead and do something about it but Christmas is hear to stay but I wish they would talk about the religious view of Christmas instead of the secular view. Your in a world of freedom now accept the culture at least your not in the middle of poverty or a bloody civil war. Canadians would try to accept your way of life, Culture and holiday’s if we came to your country.
