political correctness is a retarded idea, it is outright impossible to NOT offend someone, somewhere
I do not feel it is encumbent upon me to please every splinter group that ever existed. This problem extends far beyond holiday terminology. For example, why is English now called IRLA “Integrated Reading and Lanuage Arts” in our public schools?. Exactly who are we trying NOT to offend? The Hispanics? Really, I couldn’t care less. English class is what it is – English class, not IRLA or any other bullcrap moniker.
