Irish passport holders may travel to Canada without a visa and seek entry. For how long you may stay depends upon the determination of a Canadian Border Services Agency Officer. Six months is the maximum granted stay without a visa.

You need to convince the immigration officer that you will leave the country at the end of your visit (return-flight ticket, ties to your country) and that you hold sufficient funds to cover your stay.

may be you require a tourist visa…get in touch with a consultant for this like the Goldman Associates (http://immigrationtocanada.org/)
