Question by Kt R: best place to live in north america?
okay, im 14 and a total fucking nerd, the only friend i have lives miles away, i dont go to school and have suffered from great traumatic experiences in my life. My dad wants to move to north america, hes talking about florida but i see it more as a holiday place. By the way im terrified of hurricanes and tornados and love art and beauty. New York! Preferably either Queens, or Long Island, but if you like art, probably Manhattan
it really all depends on what you want.
if you want some place fairly warm then go more south, and florida would be nice.
and yes florida is kind of a holiday place.
personally i LOVE wyoming. its really beautiful, and you get to know pretty much everyone around you, even in the cities.
so it really depends on what you want.
well.. it depends. i live in the southeast (chattanooga, tn) and its pretty great. the weather is mild and there is lots to do downtown. also not to far away from atlanta, knoxville or nashville. there is always something going on. try somewhere in the east for sure. the west sucks.
Well Florida has nice weather, but there’s been a lot of hurricanes there the past few years. Maybe some where with mountains, like Colorado or New York?
If you are afraid of hurricanes and tornadoes then you should live on the west coast, like california or oregon.
well, i think New York seems nice for you, there is so much stuff to do, if you live outside of manhattan, things are much cheaper, but visiting manhattan is fantastic. with the metropolitan museum of art, galleries, cafe’s, stores/ boutiques, etc. and the weather is very nice too. it rains about twice a month, sometimes alot more though. and we rarely get tornadoes/ hurricanes. and although we do get alot of snow, it is fun, plus New England is the best to see autumn leaves, hot summer beach days, spring in the park etc.

Since you and your dad are obviously not Canadian or American citizens, ask yourself, do we qualify for admission? It sounds unlikely but just in case you do the most livable city in the USA is probably Seattle.
In Canada I would vote Vancouver as the best. It is not too cold in the winter unlike most of the rest of Canada.
