Question by flossie: Which Balearic island resort is best for me?
I am looking to book a holiday to either Ibiza, Minorca or Mallorca and wondered if anybody could give me some information about resorts you have stayed at that may be suitable for me.
I am going with my boyfriend and we want a quiet holiday without any clubbing. (we dont want to be kept awake in our Hotel by a nearby club either). We would like a nice beach front hotel preferably but would want to do activities in the day aswell as going on the beach, ie water park, cycling, tennis etc etc.
If you have been to a quiet resort that your could recommend, however still things to do and if we wanted to have a short walk to some restaurants/shops that would be good. I look forward to hearing your sugesstions!

ibiza is more for clubbers so i wouldnt really reccomend there
i have never personally been to minorca but it sounds nice why dont you do some research on resorts in minorca and see which one is best for you?

majorca i have been there twice one resort not to go to if you dont want clubbers is magaluf but alcudia is a nice family resort with lots of bars and nice reasturants

Try to stay around the east of the island if you’re looking for a more peaceful vacation and nice beaches
– of course there’s places to be found like this in Mallorca and Ibiza also though
Mallorca perhaps.
Have a look at Puerto Portals / Palma Nova, or Alcudia / Puerto Pollensa
The latter is better for cycling
Santa ponsa, majorca! I went there a few years back and especially from this time of year onwards it would be fairly quite, but not too dead!
