Hiya me and my partner are wanting to go away some where in September for his 30th birthday and would like some resort recommendations of where we could go abroad in Europe with our 1 year old son ?
We would like to go somewhere where there will be plenty to do not somewhere rowdy but some where nice with atmosphere and bars still? We love our beaches, restaurents and bars but not nightclubbing places.
We live in UK so looking for somwhere that is no more than 4 hours.
It has to be a very nice resort with lots of nice food and stuff as my partner loves his holiday food ! and its his 30th borthday so has to be special.
Any recommendations ?

September is a great time to be here in Italy. It’s starting to cool off, most people are back from holidays in August and everything is open, there aren’t quite so many tourists, and the food is always great. Early in the month, there are several interesting festivals like the Venice Film festival, the Historic Regatta in Venice, the Chess Spectacle in Marostica (not far from Venice) http://www.marosticascacchi.it/a_2_EN_9_1.html or the Giostra (Joust) in Arezzo http://www.giostradelsaracino.arezzo.it/ .
