Where shall I go on holiday?
Question by trevfromeastenders: Where shall I go on holiday?
Right. My girlfriend and I are looking to go on holiday in September. The plan is to buy some flights (from anywhere in the UK) soon and get accommodation last minute which seems to be the way to get best value. We’re in our late twenties/early thirties and are very open to most types of holiday. I think we’d be just as happy with a beach holiday or a city holiday – our last three holidays were Cornwall, Benalmadena and Marrakesh and we enjoyed them all equally. As far as budget goes, we’d like to keep costs down a bit but we’re not on a really tight budget. And as it’s our first holiday without my son for a little while we’d prefer somewhere that doesn’t charge a fortune if we want to go out for a night drinking!
I’ve just sent a list of flights from the UK for £100 or less in September to my girlfriend, but I thought I’d get you lovely people in yahoo answers involved. Out of the below locations – where should I go and why?

Denmark
Sweden
Norway

Spain
Portugal
Croatia
Morocco
Belgium

Above mentioned countries have beautiful places. It all depends on you where you want to spend your holidays. If you have extraordinary credit then you may choose above countries for holidays. If you do not mind, I can I add one more name in your list for planning holidays???? I think that you should go to Dubai for spending holidays.
Slovenia is all around beautiful
It really depends what you’re looking for and the destinations you’ve listed are incredibly varied. If you want a cheap holiday with sun and beaches then Gran Canaria is my recommendation. The high season is in the winter due to it having year round favourable weather so summer months offer plenty of bargains both in flights and hotels. Look to get a good deal by contacting hotels directly, Maspalomas is the nicest resort and where we stayed when we there and the beach there is huge with nudist, gay and family areas.
Madeira Islands in Portugal is a magical place!
Easyjet flies from London and Lisbon to Madeira.
Tromso, Norway is definitely the best choice.
We have midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis in the winter.

Czech Republic. Why? Nightlife is good there and has their own currency.
EasyJet flies to Prague while RyanAir flies to Brno. British Airways also flies to Prague from London (Heathrow).
