Question by Lozzrie: Where is hot in May in Europe to go on a beach holiday?
I am looking to have a week in the sun…. Was thinking Italy, Portugal,Canaries THE HOTTER THE BETTER!!!!

Southern Italy, Tenerife, Ibiza and the Greek Islands are the hottest places in Europe and all can be accessed relatively cheaply.

    Hottest parts of Europe in May are Southern Greece and it’s offshore Islands, and Cyprus. It’s pretty hot in Southern Italy too.

    A bit early in the season for the Canaries or Portugal.

    Basing on my experience, in May Italy is not hot enough to go to beach, maybe the southernmost zones are, but not Northern/Central Italy…
