I’m going for 2 months, and need to buy winter stuff now as it is currently winter in Australia.
Any tips?
I will be going skiing there also.

If you are going to Switzerland at this time of year it will be coming to summer in Switzerland. Some areas can actually get rather hot and humid, especially near lake areas
If you will be in Switzerland in Jan/Feb it will be winter and rather cold. You will need gloves, some under garments would be useful to. It is better to layer up. Most places in Switzerland are quite well insulated in homes and hotels.
If you are skiing at this time of year, it will likely at rather high altitudes because that is the only location where there would be snow.
