Anywhere at the end of March in Europe can be unpredictable weather wise.
I have spent many a week in Benidorm & the weather’s been in the 70′s & hot & then again it’s rained but was so much hotter than the UK.

I suppose, the Canaries are a safe bet too & the southern coast of Spain (Marbella, Malaga etc..)

I think it’s better to book a resort that has enough for you to do if the weather is miserable because there’s nothing worse than stuck somewhere when it’s raining with nothing to do.
All I can say is by past experiences is that Benidorm has been sunnier/warmer more times than it has rained.

Greece?……my friends in France go there twice a year, always in March. I am emailing them and will tell you where they go…..Stay tuned.

    Okay, update,

Here is what the France friends (in their 50s) said,

“The island of Symi in the Dodecanese…….you get a boat there from Rhodos”

(to me it looks quiet and may be boring if you are younger. I think I would like it, off the beaten track).

Following is what a junior colleague of mine (she’s 28) said about her recent trip to Greece with her boyfriend…..said they didn’t care for the Cecil, wasn’t bad, they only slept there, but otherwise the following hotels were good).

They are people who like to tour, tour, tour, run, run, run. I prefer to stay in one or two places, see them in more depth and relax. To each his own. Anyway, you can probably google these places and get an idea. If you want, I could email you the whole itinerary including what to see. I always wanted to go to Greece, but didn’t know how to tackle it, so I was glad to check it out for both of us.

Athens, Hotel Cecil, 2 days in Athens
    Dellphi, Hotel Hermes, 1 day
    Nafplio, Byron Hotel, 2 days
Mykonos, Myconian Inn Hotel, 2 days
    Oia, Aspa Villas, 2 days

    Best wishes
