The Kuna of course as that is the national currency
Yes you can pay in some places with Euronotes, but then you will get the change (coins) back in Kuna’s. Then you will be left working how much extra this has cost you to pay in Euros for the commission that will inevitably be added on, plus then you have the conversion nightmare to work out if you have been charged correctly and have been given the right change
So then you have a wallet with Euronotes and Kuna coins, wondering how to pay for the next thing you buy!
As with all countries, to make the most of your money, stick to the local currency
KUNA IS THE MONEY YOU NEED BUT, take your debit or credit card and use the atm machines to get money this is the cheapest way to go
