I would like to spend my holidays in Poland (I live in slovakia) and I would like to spend it with my horse…. And for the way back I would like to take one more from poland.. so what are the disadvantages for treveling with 1 or 2 horses and also what are the advanteges..

Disadvantages, the horse can get hurt if the trailer your using is not safe. Make sure you are comfortable driving with the trailer behind your vehicle, it can start to sway back and forth. the animals weight can cause that to happen too. Towing a trailer is very different from driving without one. I’m not sure how long your drive will be, but the animal needs to be kept cool, dry and fed. Many horses do not like trailers at all.

i went to Slovakia for a month several years ago..beautiful country and great people..make sure you have a good trailer and give them rest during fuel stops.give them water and small amounts of feed when traveling this will keep them busy and keep them from getting travel weary..make sure you exercise them after the trip to work out the kinks from travel and on a unsure horse you may want to put on some polo wraps in case they kick when in the trailer..but otherwise have fun going over the tatra’s in to Poland..do vedania..
