March 3rd – The Treaty of San Stefano was signed on this date in 1878.Bulgaria regained it’s independence from the Ottoman empire .
May 6h – Gergiovden.Day of the Army and bravery.People called Georgi,or something similar,celebrate their name day.

    September 22 – Independence Day
    May 1 – Labor Day
    May 6 – St. George’s Day
    May 24 – Day of Bulgarian Education and Culture, also Slavonic Lliterature Day
