Question by Hannah Louise: What are some nice seaside areas of England to go on summer holidays?
Me and my friends are trying to plan a holiday, we’re thinking maybe Cornwall but we’re not sure yet. Anyone have any suggestions on places that are good for surfing/beach, nice enough weather, relatively good (but not wild) nightlife etc?

Cornwall is lovely, as is the Welsh coast (not sure about nightlife there though)

Cornwall is nice. However, Bournemouth might be nice for you. It has miles of beautiful sandy beaches. It has nightlife, attractions, shopping, and beautiful countryside. the surfing is not quite as good as Cornwall. The new surf reef was a bit of a flop.
I would recommend the south coast from Cornwall to Dorset but further to the east there is Brighton and Hove. Nice places, nice towns, better weather than the cold north, lovely beaches including n…. ones if anybody so wishes. Bournemouth is a nice place.
