I need to know some national holidays in spain besides the obvious like christmas or easter or whatever.

Constitution Day (Dec 6th) and a religious holiday on Dec 8th make pretty easy to people to get one day off and have a nice holiday time.
October 12th its also important, since Columbus’ arrival to america is celebrated.
August 15th, Nov 1st, May 1st (labour), Jan6th are also national holidays.
