warmest place for Holiday in Europe in January?

Question by Vsb: warmest place for Holiday in Europe in January?
I thinking of going away for a few days in January but I can only afford to go somewhere in Europe and I dont want to anywhere too cold. I know it wont be really warm anywhere but which country in europe’ is likely to warmest?

Most likely this is Cyprus, a large island in the Mediterranean sea.

    I would guess the Greek island of Crete.
    The south side is just north of Africa.

    Try looking at a world globe… if you did, they you would see that the 40th line of Latitude goes just North of Sevilla Spain and THROUGH BOULDER COLORADO..

    The warmest places in Europe at this time of year are NOT IN CONTINENTAL EUROPE… try the Greek Islands… the mediterranean has a moderating effect on their weather.
