Bulgaria is one of the BEST places I’ve travelled to.
And WORST place to travel is India for all European/American girls specially recently 15 yr old Scarlett Keeling from England was killed after being gang raped. Many, many Russian, German, other European girls have been raped or assaulted there.
I would advice all countries follow Russia’s example and ban travel to India for their female tourists.
No,its not like on the film..Its hundred times better ! The film is perfect ( evala,unikalen e,naistina ! ),but there is something that miss-the bulgarian people or to be more specific how we make holidays..Here in Austria i miss my nation so much..We are so cool ;dd I mean really..we laugh all the time,we talk so much and drinkin´ alcohol like nobody else (the last was a joke). . .U have to came to Bulgaria,really..U will be pleased of our country and..us ;d Take care [ ;

I forgot to mention that I spent some time in Burgas and Plovdiv. They are really cool cities as well. Bulgaria is very different from my home, Toronto, because it is not as multicultural or developed. Hopefully that will change with time. Still my best vacation so far.
I’m Chinese Canadian and I went to Sofia and Varna/ Golden Sands in Sept ’09 for about 8 days total. It was the best trip I ever had but it would be difficult for people who don’t speak any Bulgarian. People are the same everywhere some good some bad. The country is beautiful and safe if you are a respectful person. The women are really beautiful too!

I’m portuguese, and i’ve been in Bulgaria some monts ago… It’s a country really beautiful.. I think sofia is the most beautiful capital in europe. Nice country with a little bit of everything
