My partner and I and another couple are hoping to Go on holidays in June, but are undecided. My partner and I were in Hersonnisos crete lst year and found no fault with it but i would still like to try something different. The other couple dont mind where we go. Back to Crete or Bulgaria??

I haven’t been to Crete but several years ago I was in Bulgaria which is OK if you have young kids and only want the beach and are not looking for entertainment, it has lots of prostitutes and the food is bad unless you go to a hotel that caters mainly for the German people who are more fussier than the British.

I would say go to Bulgaria. Been there and the food is awesome. It’s pretty much the same as Greek food. I am not sure what Jackie is talking about. The people are warm and hospitable. On the Black Sea the beaches might feel at times overcrowded depending on the season. It’s all the Germans, Swedes, Brits and you name it. 90% of their women are topless while tanning. They call it monokini (something to do with mono=one and bikini…I think) …go figure. Its definitely a different experience. I’ve been in Greece, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sloavakia and few others in that region; and I would go back any time if I had money or enough vacation time to take off for month.
u can try bulgaria. its really nice and cheap also u can have a lot of fun:)
