im looking for a holiday to gibraltar in december 2010!! ive looked but im unsure of the location as when i search holidays to gibraltar nothing really comes up. what location do i look for and what airport do you fly into?? if any1 has any good links, i would really appreciate it. thankyou
im from north wales. ill have a look i found a good deal in a place called cadiz, it was 800 for 2 adults 1 child and 1 infant for 7 nights from manchester, but that didnt include transfers and i was worried incase it cost loads for a taxi or bus accross from gibraltar airport to the location!!! incase u havent guessed im new to travelling!! :O)

Try getting out an atlas and having a good browse in that for the cities near Gibraltar, for starters.

The airport is in Gibraltar. You have to drive over the runway to get into town.
It would help to know where you’re coming from. Flights from both the UK and Spain land at Gibraltar airport. For all other countries you’ll need to find flights that come into a major city such as Madrid or Barcelona, then get a connecting flight to Gibraltar. If you can fly into Malaga airport you can then get a bus to Gibraltar.
If you Google Gibraltar Holidays you should get a few good websites although, once you’ve got the flights sorted out, you just need to Google Gibraltar Hotels. But really, the easiest way to do this would be to visit a travel agent. They can do all the work for you.
The average December temp is a minimum of 54F to a maximum of 64F. Not exactly beach weather, but that depends on where you come from.

EDIT: Not sure from your additional information if you mean you’ve found a good deal at an hotel called Cadiz in Gibraltar, or you’ve found a good deal in Cadiz – the city in Spain. If you mean Cadiz the city, that is on the Atlantic Coast about 130 kms away from Gibraltar. So you really need to check all this on a map. Cadiz is a beautiful place for a holiday though.
