Its just that im going there on holiday for 3 weeks and i was wondering about the people and the country.

I personally find that they are very intelligent and generous people. You can generally stay at anyones home and they will feed you and give you a place to sleep while you travel. If you do that, it is customary to give a token of appreciation such as a small gift of some sort.
Just like with any place, you do have to be careful as there are going to be some who will take advantage; but the majority won’t and are willing to help if they can.
It is also a beautiful place full of history and natural untouched nature. It gives you a sense of what life used to be like years ago. The cities are also building quickly and turning into a more touristy type of place. They are fun, but I prefer the outer areas where you are more in touch with the real Albania.
Overall, it is a very nice place to go and stay for awhile. In fact, my Hubby is there right now. You will have fun if you like this way of life. Enjoy your trip.
