25th of April, Carnation Revolution of 1974 that ended 50 years of fascism.

1st of December, 1640, when Portugal re-gained independence from Spain.

10th of June, Portugal day, also celebrates our biggest poet, Camões.

5 October, 1910, when Portugal became a Republic

and that’s it, all other national holidays are catholic and are also celebrated in other countries.
