Question by armadillan: Travel Around Europe or Holiday to Dubai?
I’ve really had my heart on traveling around Europe in June on the inter rail, however my housemate at Uni is inviting me to stay with her and her family in Dubai. As a poor poor poor student, I unfortunately don’t have enough money for both 
I was just wondering what other people would do? It would be very holiday-ish in Dubai, but I wouldn’t have to pay for accomodation, but Europe would be an adveneture (all of my mates are too scared/skint to come so I would be doing it alone!)
What do you reckon?
Any answers would be helpful because I have to make up my mind ASAP!

i would go to dubai, since they live in dubai, perhaps they could show you places and attractions that are great that tourists would miss out on seeing normally.

i have been to dubai, there is so much to explore. i reccomend it!
If you are poor, go to Dubai, because your friend is going to house you take take you around.
Europe is expensive, especially with the exchange rate and everything.
Travelling around Europe would be an amazing experience, rich in culture, food and historical sites ect, however, if money is an issue, – would you really be able to do and see everything you want. The exchange rate for Europe is not brilliant, so budget will be key.
Dubai, could be interesting, though nothing like Europe. It will be mega hot, however, you will have free board, which is a huge consideration. There is not so much to see in Dubai, there is a lot of building work there, however, I am sure your friend can take you out and about…………
Maybe do Europe next year, in the hope of A – your friends have money and come with you and B – the Euro improves and we get a lot more for our money!!
