Its a last min thing and i just want to make sure we have enough.

Take about €200 or 200 pound and take your bank card so you can get more out of the ATM while there. Just check that your card is ready for use abroad.
And bring your credit card, if you have it, if only as back-up in emergencies.
If you do not have a card for the hole in the wall you better bring more, something like 500, but if you do, be sure to spread the money over the both of you and store it in several different places each, as you will be a prime target for pickpockets.
