Q&A: Is it possible for a working holiday visa to the Netherlands?
Question by senseless conformity: Is it possible for a working holiday visa to the Netherlands?
I’m Malaysian and was thinking of working abroad right after my studies, preferably the Netherlands, or anywhere nearby, if that’s out of the question. I was just wondering if that’s possible. Tried researching, but just wanted to try my luck here too.
Additional info, I’m in the animation industry.

You could always just visit the country on a holiday visa and then have a look to see what sort of job opportunities are available. If you have been offered a job by some reputable company like an animations studio, getting a work visa is usually then a simple formality. The immigration office looks favorably on you if you have an employer as sponsor for the application.

No, you can’t get a one year valid working holiday visa for the Netherlands. Working holiday visa are issued on reciprocal basis to citizen of those countries who have concluded appropriate agreements with the Dutch government. Those are Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. Since Dutch people cannot get working holiday visa for Malaysia Malaysian cannot get them for the Netherlands..
