Q&A: Holiday in Europe????
Question by Anastasia: Holiday in Europe????
I’m planning a holiday in your europe for two adults and two teen girls aged 15/16
We are planning on going for about 90 days and visiting the following countries:
England
Germany
Austria
Switzerland
France
Spain
Croatia
Italy
Greece.
Ireland
Czech Republic
Could you please give suggestions of places to stay(cities and hotels) things to do, your fave tourist attractions and maybe some of your holiday stories. Especially things that teens will enjoy. If thats too many countries to give information for just choose one or too.
Thanks Heaps

I would recommend Greece I have been there before and it is beautiful. You are going for a long time so what I would do is map out the places that are closest and just take it from there. I take it that your finances are great so just start labeling the places you would like to go and start searching for deals for the rooms in different countries. This will be a cool experience I hope I was some help to you need any more help just ask me.

Hey.
I am from Europe and I have been to France recently, Paris. I recommend Perfect Hotel from Montmartre (http://www.paris-hostel.biz/youth.html). It’a clean, friendly, nice place to stay near Sacre Coeur. It was great. As for the attractions..there are sooo many. you can choos almost anything. I fell in love with Paris. My favourites were Jardin du Luxembourg, George Pompidou, the top of Tour Eiffel.
Last summer I was in Spain. I strongly recommend Barcelona. But I also went to Southern Spain. I stayed in a little town Torremolinos and from there I went to Granda to visit the Alhambra (I loved it). I also took one day trip to Morrocco. You cross Gibraltar and you are on the African continent. So it’s great. I was in Tangiers and I liked it.
As for Austria I was in Vienna. I stayed at Hotel Ruthensteiner..but I don’t recommend it if you have kids. Once you are there you can find at the hotels maps and brochures with the attractions. I saw some of them and I liked Schonbrunn (of course!) (as a tip: you can order tickets online so it’s easier when you arrive there) . And go to Prater to see Ferris Wheel.
I was also in Greece. But I haven’t seen much, honestly. I was in Thessaloniki which I liked..it’s a nice city and in Halkidiki (because it was summer) but there many other attractions you should see..like Athens!, Meteora, Mount Athos.
In Italy, I heard Venice is amazing! Try to be less of tourists, and go to like the small villages and meet people, cause that’s where you’ll see the country for what it is, and it a much nicer experience. But be weary, lol.
If you are going to that many countries, get a comprehensive Europe guide book like Rough Guide, Lonely Planet, Lets Go, etc.
