Q&A: Exchange Sudent/Holiday in Europe?

Question by Warwick T: Exchange Sudent/Holiday in Europe?
I am interested on going on a 6 week foreign exchange with Rotary.
My choices are Austria, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Sweden or Switzerland. I am going during December/January.

I am in high school and because I live in South Africa also learn Afrikaans (7th year now).

Which one do you suggest for any reasons including new years etc.

And any other info would be great.

Thanks

I suggest you go to all of them, but only spend a day or two in each as there are very easily affordable trains from 20 to 50 euro which can take you from France to Switzerland etc. Just catch cheap trains from one country to the next.

I’d concentrate on taking on six weeks in Europe, then you could spend a week in each of the European countries and then have a day to travel in between them.
