I live in england and quite frankly it sucks. It’s boring, always rains and the queen’s a bitch.

I live in england and in december it will be cold wet damp
or just at freezing point like it was last year.
If your going to go anywhere it depends what kind of break you want if you want to go somewhere with lots to do then london most probabley but remeber it gets busy depending on what part you go to if you want a quiet week then surrey?? sussex?? full of country and animals
I live just out side of london theres not much to do where i live its in the middle of nowhere with fields and cows and sheep lol

Its not brilliant in the winter, unless it snows which is rare depending which part you visit.

    God No!
at the end of december/early january, it is pitch black dark by 4.30pm, and that’s in the South! In the North of England and Scotland, it’s more like 4!

It’s always raining and windy in december too.

So with about 8 hours of daylight, which will almost certainly be cloudy and raining, i’d say it’s a waste of a trip.

February is usually nice – It’s a lot lighter by then and that month is a lot drier and is the most likely month for a dusting of snow, and everything looks nicer with a dusting of snow on it :)

It’s grey, damp and cold (unless it’s raining, when it’s just wet and cold) and feels generally miserable, plus from Christmas until after January 1 a lot of workers take a holiday so not a lot is happening.
