Hey. I have a friend that is not a British Citizen. He is from Malaysia but he has this VISA that allows him to stay in the UK and work in the UK. If he wants to go on Holiday with me (Im a British Citizen) does he need a VISA to go to Switzerland?

No, he does not need a visa. Citizens of Malaysia can stay in the Schengen area to include Switzerland as tourists for up to 3 months without visa.
He just needs a valid passport and, if travelling by air, he should hold a return flight ticket to avoid the burden of proof that he does not plan to stay illegally in the country.
