I heard from some sources that Italian Custom will not allow anyone to take fresh fruits into the country. If anyone know the Law related to taking fresh fruits in Italy please share with me.

Customs probably everywhere will not allow you to bring in or take out fresh fruit, meats, live plants, live animals from country to country. Why bother with the hassle of trying, buy a fruit basket when you reach your destination.
