I’m only sixteen though, so what things can I indulge in, whether it be food or activities. Cuz everyone says England is boring, is it really?

go on the giant ferris wheel
go to the huge museum
visit my cousins
go swimming in freezing water
go through castles
see the crown jewels

eat terrible tasting food
throw up
use the Miniature bathrooms that are infested with roaches
watch wacky tv shows
watch cricket
walk around
eat cheap candy
go to the big church
go home
arrive
um yeah that’s about all i can think of

The Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace for the changing of the guard, a Medieval Dinner theatre is always fun and the food is good. Ask at your hotel. A ride on the Thames. The Elizabeth and Albert Museum.

Hang out in front of Asda. Get insults hurled at you by chavs…”WE hate Americans..!”
Hide from the TV license people. Work in a pub illegally.
I would go on one of the Sandeman’s New London Tours. More info on this can be found at:

I went and I loved it. I got to see almost all the major sites in England. Plus, my tour was free. Although, the guides work for free so we tipped at the end.
Also, if you’re wanting to get into the English countryside, visiting the Chatsworth Mansion is another great option. More info on this can be found at http://www.chatsworth.org. The house and gardens are very large and were featured in numerous period movies including Pride & Prejudice (Pemberly) and the Dutchess.

England might be boring but London definately isn’t.
if you get the train just one stop (eg london bridge to waterloo east) you can get into most stuff 2 for the price of 1 (check out http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/attraction-types/2for1london.aspx). there’s also stuff on all the time check out timeout.com/london
London is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, so it is definately worth heading up Brick Lane for a curry or visiting the largest temple outside India in Neasden.
