HOLIDAY TO EUROPE -Please Help?

Question by Reain Wells: HOLIDAY TO EUROPE -Please Help?
Every one thanks for your support, the answer I got was not clear.
My wife and I would like to go on a honey moon to Europe.
We plan to land in Brussels head to Hague, Amsterdam, Cologne, Munich, Luxembourg, Paris, Rome, Florence and then Take off from Venice.
Please advise the best travel tip (Euro Rail/which pass), how to go about in the cities.
How much is required for this whole trip around Europe, we booked our flight tickets, now need to book hotels.

In your earlier question you mention being in Europe for only 15 days. If this is correct, there is no way you can see 10 cities in that time. You need to allow one day to travel between cities, and at least two or three days to see each city properly. I suggest you spend a couple of days in Brussels, head to Paris for a few days, then Amsterdam, and perhaps fly to Venice for the remaining time.

  1. Train traveling is very stressful, especially in Italy (from my own experience). It is very confusing with those train stations… My advice for you to get Frommer’s Travel Guides (book you can find in the book store) , which is a great help and take step-by-step. I recommend you to book a bus tour around Europe. They will pick you up, explain you sites, and they are cheaper and less stressful than Train (believe me). Look @ http://www.gotobus.com. They have great deals on tour around the Europe + it is all inclusive.

How much time do you have? Because that’s a lot of travelling involved there. You might have to leave out a few cities. There’s no point in spending less than 4 days in any of them.

You can book your accommodation through http://www.hostelworld.com, this also includes hotels, guesthouses, apartments … you’ll see the costs there. Read all reviews before committing yourself.

Amsterdam, Munich and Paris will be expensive, for sure.

As I know, most of them is connected by railway, and you have 2 option buy Rail pass or take individual ticket, each option has advantage and disadvantage, if you have are planning to spend lot of time and no hurry, I would recommend to take individual ticket, beside will be cheaper option, you can get free time and no need to hurry to take another train. This website would helpful http://www.seat61.com/
About city accommodation, you can take a look at well known tourist agency website, there are lot of accommodation listed start from hostel, hotel, studio rooms, and apartment, you can visit http://www.tripadvisor.com just search for city that you want to visit. For Rome and Paris you can visit this site http://www.lodjee.com there are lot of vacation rental option with easy preference.
