One of the best reasons 1000s of people like to go to Gozo on holiday is the island’s natural beauty. The island of Gozo is an unspoilt paradise, excellent for anyone who loves nature and natural surroundings.

Someone referred me to this because I wanted to do the whole Europe thing but my friends are cheap etc and I didn’t want to travel alone, but then I saw the age range kind of wide eh. I would totally try it out if the range was 18-25 but 18-35 is a bit old. I’m mature enough to be around 30 something but not trying to party and get loose with 30 year olds so maybe you guys need to set specific age trips like college students specific trips etc.. I guess I’m back to finding a backpack buddy

    @nickryder1111
So you’re implying that anyone who acts on TV is lying if they say they went on a vacation? LOL. I guess actors aren’t allowed to take trips.

  8. raiderjim Mar 27th 2011

Not a great deal, a big part of their salary is the tip they get at the end.

  9. nickryder1111 Mar 27th 2011

Contiki are fucking liars…. The dude at the start of the video is an actor on the Australian TV show Double Take, no seriously, I’m watching him right now. What a load of crap.

    Wow your so witty!
Didn’t actually see an irish pub in paris, or an American Sports Bar in Florence.
I met people who weren’t on the BUS, suks for you, that you only met people on the bus.
I’ve been on my own. thanks all the same.

haha… no, I have a pretty good attitude.. although at times it can be tested by simpletons:)
You have to admit this video is pretty lame:)
Did you meet those foreigners in the Irish pub in Paris or perhaps the American Sports Bar in Florence?
I’m sure you still chat with them as the meeting was so special:)
Miss…you met the people on the BUS… as did I.
But I have to admit… there were some great people on the coach:)
I guarantee you, go out on your own you’ll have a great, great time:)

I’ve been on Contiki and I don’t actually remember any of them having their daddy pay for the trip.
And I actually met alot of people, from alot of different places
There were people over 30 on our tour and it didn’t seem to bother them and they had no trouble relating to people.
Maybe you having a bad time has something to do with your attitude?

I did the Contiki trip ” Road to Rome” summer 2008. It was amazing. You get to see everything that you’re looking foward to (i.e. Eiffel Tower, Colesseum, etc), but they make sure you see some cool off the beaten path things. I will travel with them again. Amazing experience.

If you’ve done any traveling on your own D’ONT take Contiki… you’ll be seriously disappointed.
Travelling is about meeting LOCALS not about meeting 25 others from the same country… you don’t meet locals on Contiki.
If you’re over 30 don’t go either… most of the clients still live at home… as this movie also portrays… it can be tough to relate to someone whose daddy paid for the trip.

how much salary do contiki european tour managers make????

what is their net airfare & net hotel discount?

  18. MrSteaky Mar 27th 2011

What obnoxious australians as aposed to being stuck on a bus with ignorant arses such as yourself aye?

  19. brazilianbee Mar 27th 2011

Instead of wasting your money on a contiki holiday, you could just figure it all out yourself, travel for twice as long and have far more intense experiences that just sitting on a tour bus with a group of obnoxious Australians.
