Question by lispyoon: do you know of any places worth visiting in sicily?
i’m planning a week-long holiday to sicily.. any tips on what places to visit?
i was thinking about spending 5 days in taormina and 2 days shopping in catania, but i’ve never been to sicily, so your answers will be appreciated.
i also thought that maybe i could get a boat to italy for a day.. do you know if there are any ferries?

I usually use www.selectitaly.com to find hotels in italy. I’ve never been to Sicily yet but have heard its very nice. I’m sure that they have ferries on the port I know in Naples where I live they have ferries all day long that go out to the island and you just buy tickets at the port so it should be the same I would think because thats how all the the Italian ports seem to be that I’ve been to.
