October is a good choice.

You will have missed the stifling heat of mid summer, expect temperatures in the low 30C range in the afternoon falling to about 20C overnight, humidity will also be lower. Best yet is that the lager lout tourists will have gone home.

Meals and drinks are considerably cheaper than the UK expect to save about 50% compared to UK prices.

Paphos is a fascinating place for a holiday, but I think Kyrenia in North Cyprus is even better! Like Paphos it has a lovely harbour fringed with restaurants and bars, but the prices in the North are lower generally, so your holiday cash buys more. Take a look at the section on Kyrenia at Cyprus44.com and see if it takes your fancy!
