Can anybody recommend a good place to go on holiday in Europe with a one year old?

Question by Princess H: Can anybody recommend a good place to go on holiday in Europe with a one year old?
Me and my partner are planning to book a holiday for beginning of September this year as my daughter will be one. I wandered if anyone has had a fantastic experience of visiting somewhere like greece or spain and found it catered really well for young children. Just that we can really cannot decide where to go therefore your experiences would be most useful. Thanks in advance x

Ah, having gone to school there, I’d have to say Rome, Italy and the Vatican.
If you book early enough you might be able to arrange an audience with the Holy Father (Pope).

You’ll just have to see to believe the art work in statues and painting in the churches is all I can say. Impossible for words to come close to describing them.

Not just the art but also the engineering feats of the ancient Romans. That is mind boggling awesome.

And THE FOOD!!!! THE FOOD !!!!! THE FOOD!!!!

Compared to the food in Rome the so-called super chefs in Paris are still cooking over camp fires and eating their food half raw.

And I mean at the local cafes in Rome. Just their every day food.
And don’t forget the ice cream. You have got to try the ice cream. Best ice cream in the world.

  1. Spaniards love children, and they will be very friendly and helpful with your daughter.

Here’s a site I found for European kid friendly destinations:
