Any recommendations for short holidays in europe for students?
Question by kath: Any recommendations for short holidays in europe for students?
My friends and I were thinking of going to London for a short trip during the holidays, but was looking at prices for different attractions and they were like £15-20 for each of them! So was wondering any recommendations for other places to visit?? We are students at Belfast Northern Ireland!

Get a cheap flight to somewhere in continental europe.
Recommendations-
Barcelona- cheap flight, not so cheap when you get there but nowhere near as bad as london! There is so much to see and do.
Croatia-go island hopping and stay cheaply with the locals. very friendly people
Poland(krakow)- very cheap, you can take day trips to auschwitz or the salt mines nearby. You can get a lovely meal out for about the equivalent of 5 euros
Turkey- very cheap and hot! my recommendation is to go to olympos in the south and stay in the tree houses there. Then take a 3 day cruise to fethiye- its all really cheap and so much fun.

I would definately join hostelling international. You can find some fun places to stay cheap and also get discounts on your flights and possibly other transporation. Then, after you join hostelling – pick where you want to go from what places are available for the dates you want. By surfing their website, you also might get ideas for where you would like to visit. What about Paris or Munich? Also, maybe you could go near London, but not in London and still find fun stuff to do.
