Question by Graeme H: Where should I go on my Pacific Holiday?
I’ve been shopping around for the most prime location for an overseas holiday. I eventually decided I’d love to go somewhere in the Pacific, a small island or something similar, the idea of crystal blue waters and tropical climate really excites me. A change from the suburbs & office life for sure!
I’ve looked at a few web sites, but really I would like some recommendations to win me over.
I’ve had my eyes on Tahiti or Hawaii – but might consider somewhere closer to Asia as I’m interested in those cultures.

Go to the Philippines … it’s a fantastic country with the most beautiful beaches and scenic spots. It also has the some of the largest malls in the world and is becoming a shopping haven in the pacific. Filipinos are the friendliest people in asia and as english language is prevalent, having a culture that is a fusion of the east and the west, your trip will be both convenient as it will be amazing.

You should check out http://www.pacificholiday.net as well, I found them while searching and they really gave me a strong foundation of what to expect at different pacific locations. From their site and other research I’d probably go with Fiji, and it’s close
Plus it really meets the criteria you listed (eg: crystal waters and tropical climate). I’m definitely coming back to that site if I want another pacific holiday in the future.
