It chronicles three days in the life of Amelita, a jueteng kubrador (bet collector). Despite the regular crackdown on this illegal game, she continues to collect bets from her regular patrons every day. On the third day, a holiday, she takes a break from work and visits the grave of her soldier son who perished in war…. It is All Saint’s Day. One day she is apprehended by the police. She joins the other kubradors in the police station until their kabo (handler) bails them out. The following morning, Amy returns to the streets and continues her clandestine activity. She meets the parish priest who informs her of a young neighbour’s sudden death in an accident. He asks her to collect abuloy (donations) from neighbours and friends. But then, a series of events turns her mundane existence into a perplexing game of life, luck and death. i saw gina pareno one time …it was all saints day at north cemetery walking very tired and perspiring carrying a child as she entered the gate of the cemetery..i said to myself she is still beautiful ..i noticed her eyes ..she got a very beautiful eyes…nagulat ako ng mapanood ko tong movie nato kasi that day pala when i saw her shooting pala yun..but i never saw any crew or staffs or cameras that day….
Love this film. Probably one of my fave indie film. could use a bit of editing though and the camera makes me dizzy. but all in all i highly recommend this to film buffs everywhere.

poverty is a problem in many rich countries like the US, Japan and Korea. Filipinos are still lucky even if there are many poor still many finishes college. If you are into watching news there are some clips that shows homeless people in their country like for example in denmark the police authorities demolized the illegal squatters. in germany even if the schooling is free until college many of them has not finishes college studies.

I think you are calling yourself BOBO. Ikaw yun eh, you are calling producers of this one-of-a-kind and exceptional movie BOBO. You don;t know the value of being a Filipino. Again, it shows how the simple Filipinos live and not how we, Filipinos, perish as one of the 3rd world countries. And one more thing, movies of this kind are great works which should be preserved. Maraming values ang makukuha mo dito.
Go and watch foreign movies, after all, ikaw din ang nag papababa sa pinas…:)
