Q&A: Wine tasting holiday in Asia?

Question by Natasha Hanna: Wine tasting holiday in Asia?
Me and my BF are planning a long weekend away in the next month or so and were wondering if we could go somewhere that incorporated wine tasting into our holiday. I’ve heard of this in EU but have not heard of it in Asia. Does anyone know of a place where they do this? We do love our wine

Southeast Asia brings many images to mind, but when you mention Thailand or Bali you don’t normally think of high quality grapes producing award winning wines. Time to change your thinking – the wines of Asia are starting to be noticed.

    Thailand has a number of fine vineyards that can be toured. The wines are probably not as well known, but people have told me they’re comparable to California wines. As a bonus, you can also explore the rest of the country! :D
