Q&A: Is May/June/July a good time to travel to South East Asia?
Question by Ann-Maria: Is May/June/July a good time to travel to South East Asia?
I’m a university student so the summer months are the only time I can take time out for an extended holiday. Haven’t got a very clear idea of where to go yet but would like to visit countries such as the Philippines, India, Thailand. However, people either tell me that it’s unbearably hot or then really rainy during those months? What’s your opinion?

Yes it’s hot. This period is not really a rainy season. Rainy season normally starts from November to probably January.
What do you think? Answer below!

There’re some countries for South East Asia ( ASEAN ) : Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, Philippines, East Timor and Burma,
May/June/July or either August is the best time for visit those countries.
You may take long trip to visit some countries as mentioned above. Indonesia to Thailand take 3.5 hours flight
Indonesia – Singapore about 1.15 hours, Indonesia to Philipines about 3.5 hours, Malaysia to Singapore about 1.5 hours, etc.
If you’ve more times below my suggestion :
If you like to see shopping area go to Singpore, If you like to see beatiful beach in the world please go to Bali ( Indonesia ), and if you like to see western style please drop to Manila and if you want to see more about art please go to Bangkok ( Thailand )
So, please go first to Thailand, then take another flight to Singapore or Malaysia then after enjoy your last days at Bali.
For sure it will be make you enjoy.
Have a nice trip
i’m from the philippines. may and june is good yet humid because july will always have rain/stroms already. i would suggest if you go there by may and bring light clothings. enjoy going to the beaches and natural springs there.
